RAMPN’ Up to REV3 Cedar Point – UPDATE – Week of May 27th
The week of May 27th was a fantastic training week for the Tri Tornadoes. It also marked the opening of the OUTDOOR pool at the Baxter YMCA. The first few days, the water was REALLY COLD and you had to keep swimming to stay warm. If you stopped and rested, goose bumps started to appear and make the swims FRIDGID. The water temp was 72 degrees one day with an air temp of 48 degrees….WOW…That was a COLD morning swim. On Saturday, the storms rolled thorough Indianapolis and moved our bike workout inside to the Spin room, but as luck would have it…the rain slowed down and we were able to get our run in without getting totally soaked. Next Saturday, June 8th is our first team race at the America Multisport Triathlon in Muncie. Look for details in next week’s post.

So for the week of May 27th the Tri Tornadoes Swam 37,700 yards, Biked 530 miles and Ran 177 Miles. Our Totals are now up to 730,771 yards Swum, 5,760 miles Biked and 2,717 miles Ran.

We also DRANK…380 ounces or almost 3.00 gallons of Chocolate Milk.
