Tuesday AM Tri Tornadoes Team workout was a 30 min bike ride followed by a 30 min run. Jeff, Heather, James, Shelley, Alan and Jim joined Coach Todd for the workout. We rode out to the 1 mile oval in the neighborhood behind the YMCA for some practice on speedy turns and holding a race pace efforts for short intervals. We logged approximately 10 miles of riding and had a good solid 2 mile time trial thrown in for fun and to keep the pace exciting. After the bike it was a quick transition out to the 4 mile run. The good solid effort on the run made for a realistic feel of the way the body feels during the run of a sprint triathlon. Overall, it was a solid workout and an excellent stepping stone for the building of a strong foundation. Great job TEAM!!
